Kidnappers of three students in the Imota, Ikorodu area of Lagos on Thursday reduced their demand from N200 million to N10 million and also gave instruction on where the ransom should be dropped.
The students were abducted late Monday at the Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary in Imota, Ikorodu, Lagos State after the broke a part of the fence to gain entrance.
According to reports, one of the parents were called and told about the reduction and where it should be dropped.
The state government had said it would do all within its powers to ensure the release of the students.
Security sources on Thursday tracked the abducted students to Arepo, the hub of illegal bunkering and pipeline vandalism in Ogun State.
Meanwhile, the Lagos State House of Assembly on Thursday condemned the abduction of the students and called on the police to beef up security in the state.
They also used the opportunity to reiterate their call for the establishment of state police.
