Oshiomhole Sacks Commissioner For Commerce And Industry

News

Commissioner For Commerce and Industry in  Edo State Mr Abdul Oroh has been disengaged from his appointment by the  Executive Governor of Edo State Adams Oshiomhole.

The governor said that the removal was with immediate effect. Adding that the removal was "in the public interest”. however  no reason was given as to why Oroh was sacked.

Abdul  Oroh prior to his removal had served in the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources before he was taken to the Commerce Ministry.

Hence the Governor has approved the appointment of Mr. Kerry Emokpare as Commissioner-designate in the State. The Governor thanked Oroh for his invaluable services to the state and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
