The person suspected to be the killer of Major General Mohammed Shuwa has been arrested. Shuwa was shot dead by unknown gunmen at his home in Maiduguri in November 2012. Men believed to be members of the Boko Haram terrorist group , entered his house and opened fire on him and a guest.
Shuwa died on his way to the hospital while his guest died on the spot. Sani Usman, acting director of Army Public Relations announced the arrest of Shuwa’s suspected killer via his Facebook page on Monday.
