The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has suspended the state’s Commissioner for Finance, Dr. Fred Kpakol, and the Accountant General, Sir Abere Dagogo.
The two officials were suspended on Friday.
According to statement issued by his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu, the governor said the two officials’ suspension was with immediate effect.
No reasons have been given for the suspension.
