The Supreme Court has endorsed the election of governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State.
The Supreme Court judgment came on Tuesday, the same day the court upheld the elections of Oyo State Governors, Abiola Ajimobi and that of Ibrahim Gaidam of Yobe state.
The seven-man panel who handled the case said they would provide reasons for their judgment on February 15.
An Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal had on 24th December 2015, upheld the judgment of the Delta State Governorship Election Tribunal which affirmed the election of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as validly elected.
The Supreme Court pronouncement has finally sealed the victory.
The concerned governors were yet to make any official statement at the time of this report.
