The Taraba State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal on Saturday declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hajia Aisha Alhassan, as the duly elected governor of Taraba State.
The tribunal sacked Darius Ishaku of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared winner of the April election.
President Muhammadu Buhari had picked Alhassan as a minister and while being screened, she told the Senate that she was still battling the case at tribunal.
